Division with remainder calculator

This calculator works out the result of integer division, including the remainder. Integer division differs from ordinary division in this way: 17 divided by 5 gives 3.4 in ordinary division, but in integer division the result is 3 with a remainder of 2. If the remainder is 0, we say that the divisor divides the dividend exactly.
